FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hey there you beautiful crazies, thanks for booking with Glacier Gears & Beers! Hopefully we can answer some of your questions before you get to the bike. Please read through carefully and reach out with any questions you might have that can’t be found below.

What do I need?

Shoes that you can pedal a bike with, maybe some water, a good attitude, and an aptitude for altitude. The Flathead Valley is at 3,000 feet above sea level!

Can I drink on board?

You have a sober chauffeur so you can! Couple rules: Rule #1: You can, but you must not get off of the bike with an open container. Rule #2: Do not bring any glass onboard. Plastic cups will be provided.

Where do I meet?

Your guide will meet you at “The Roadhouse” formerly known as Scottys, located at 2205 Hwy 93 South in Kalispell. Please show up a few minutes before your tour to fill out your waivers. The Roadhouse has plenty of parking, food, libations and a game room with pool, shuffleboard and darts for before or after your tour.

Are we allowed to tip the driver?

Let’s put it this way: Would you want to be tipped for putting up with you and your friends through a 2 hour pub crawl? That’s what I thought. Be generous.

How fast does the bike go?

We average about 5 miles per hour. I know such incredible speeds may sound crazy to you, but amazingly, the human body can handle it.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Not if it messes up your hair, brain, or feng shui. BUT you will need to sign a waiver indicating that your appearance is more important than your skull.

What is the cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund or credit upon a minimum of 72 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

IMPORTANT: If we are not able to book a minimum of 8 seats – the bike will not go out (for physical reasons of pedaling the bike). We will contact you if there are less than 8 seats booked for your time slot! If a ride has to cancel due to this minimum, we will refund your payment if we are unable to reschedule your reservation.

How should I prepare for the ride?

To make your ride as enjoyable as possible, here are some things you can do:

Bring your ID

Please don’t forget this part. It’ll really hinder your experience because you’ll just have to jog sadly behind the bike, watching everyone else have the time of their lives. You’ll probably be crying. Just bring your ID.

Water Bottle
If you would like, bring a water bottle for the rides in-between the bars.
